To provide market leading engineering and land surveying solutions delivered by talented and trustworthy professionals who know this region inside and out.

Established in Buffalo, NY in 1933, Nussbaumer & Clarke, Inc. is a locally-owned and operated, multi-disciplined engineering and land surveying firm. We offer professional consulting engineering services, land development, land surveying and construction services throughout the western regions of New York State and Pennsylvania.

OUR HISTORY

Nussbaumer & Clarke, Inc. was established in 1933 by Newell L. Nussbaumer & Irving Clarke. In 1948, Charles R. Velzy, together with Nussbaumer and Clarke, formed the partnership of Nussbaumer, Clarke & Velzy. In 1961, the firm reorganized and returned the name to Nussbaumer & Clarke, Inc. Walter E. Roeder held ownership from 1984 until 2000, when Michael J. Sendor and Michael F. Smith, both of whom are still consultants, purchased the firm.

In 2017, Michael J. Borowiak and Michael T. Marino assumed the leadership of the firm, and together with our dedicated staff, strive to continue the proud and time-tested tradition of providing outstanding engineering and surveying services to our clients.

Today, Nussbaumer has offices in Erie County (Buffalo and East Aurora) and Niagara County (North Tonawanda and Lockport).

Our vision is to serve and promote our clients, communities, and staff by providing high-quality professional design engineering, land surveying and construction services for projects that shape roads, build neighborhoods, clean water, remove and treat wastewater, assess building envelope safety, improve accessibility, carve out park lands, and mapped out boundaries.  Our purpose is to create a diverse work environment that fosters a climate of purposeful inclusion of all people, and affirms every staff members as a contributing individual.
